International Women's Day

Featured News: March 08, 2019

We owe a lot to the women in our lives, from our mothers who take care of us selflessly, to the Sisters, Aunts, Grandmothers, Wives and Girlfriends who help us every time we face difficulties or need support.

They are our HERO's!

International Women’s Day (IWD) is all about acknowledging women’s immense hard work and celebrating their incredible achievements paving the way for the coming generations.

Observed since the early 1900s and now recognised each year on March 8, International Women's Day is celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm all over the world. The celebrations of Woman’s Day worldwide take place on a massive scale. Immense drives for women’s rights are carried out all over the countries by men and women with several awareness campaigns launched in various cities of the countries.

Remarkable Achievements of Women

Today, you can see women actively participating and leaving their footprints in politics, education, social work, corporate, sports, IT, research & development, innovation and other diverse fields at a global level. But the scenario was much different in the past. Not so long ago, women were not encouraged to have careers or education, its was an expectation for women to be housewives, raising the children and preparing meals (a full time job in itself!).

However, all this has changed with time and as a result, today, women are excelling, walking with men shoulder to shoulder socially and professionally.
